Senior Trade Finance Officer with experience in Treasury / banking for an Intl. Oil & Gas Trading company.

I’m currently assisting and International Oil & Gas Trading company with their search for a Senior Trade Finance Officer to join their operations in Dubai.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Trade Finance and working in a well – established department.

This role holds responsibility for acting as the authorised point of contact, expert for Trade Finance structures for other departments, management / team members and to best protect the Company’s interests.

Senior Trade Finance key responsibilities include developing relationships with new banks, negotiating of Trade Finance facilities with banks, and setting up relevant financial structures for all transactions to minimise risk and receive financing from banks.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors’ in Accounting and Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (ACCA, CPA, CFA etc.).

Candidate must haves:

• 6-8 years’ experience in Trade Finance within a Trading company or a bank.
• Strong understanding of Oil trading fundamentals, key competitors and financial tools
• Excellent analytical and logical skills
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
