I’m currently assisting an international Shipping and Chartering company with their search for an Invoice Control Officer.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director and working in a well – established team. This role holds responsibility for the control of data input by the trading desks against relevant documents to ensure all accounting entries are supported.
Invoice Controls key responsibilities include registration of all incoming invoices, check payments of all invoices, ensure VAT compliance and prepare/provide management with accurate reports.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors’ in Accounting and Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are a plus (ACCA, CPA, CFA etc.).
Candidate must have:
– 5 – 6 years’ experience in Invoice Control/ Accounts Payable role.
- Good Knowledge of SAP.
- Experience working in middle or back office and strong knowledge of banking flows.
- French or Arabic skills are a plus, not mandatory.
