The local product manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with GCC standards, such as ESMA and SASO, and obtaining approval from these organizations. Relevant product test samples, reports, and data shall be maintained and updated. Interact with the Sales, Sales Services, and Product Compliance departments and external stakeholders such as Certification bodies, Testing laboratories and Channel Partners. to ensure the necessary processes are implemented.

Tasks and Responsibilities

A proactive approach to obtaining approvals for all upcoming product introductions before market launch.

Maintain a portfolio database of all relevant reports and approvals.

Within the assigned territory, plan, control, and report certification costs.

Provide regular updates to stakeholders and arrange for the necessary exchange platforms.

Order and prepare product samples for testing and certification.

Seek external offers for testing and other services.

Maintain relevant communication channels by actively pursuing market intelligence and providing adequate and appropriate feedback.

Maintain and control relevant databases and systems.

Analyze market trends in sustainability (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) and pursue market intelligence.

Provide local sales representatives with training and content.

Education and Qualification

Analytical skills, organizational management skills, and forecasting skills

An understanding of how washrooms and bathrooms are designed, installed, and used

Ability to communicate effectively

Skills and Knowledge

SAP SCASEPS / MS Excel / Office

English (verbal/written)

Written and verbal communication at a high level

Understanding certification and approval processes from a technical background would be advantageous.
