Lead the lean transformation in the Intercontinental region – Japan, AKA (ASEAN, Korea, ANZ), India & South Asia and LATAM across all businesses and functions within GE Healthcare. An individual contributor role (or may lead a very small team), where you will be responsible for working with different businesses / plants / functional leaders to establish a customer-based process improvement strategy, which drives customer responsiveness, lead time reduction and quality improvement in line with business/functional objectives.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Support the GE Healthcare Lean Business System and Champion for lean Deployment to drive business growth, customer portfolios and waste elimination.
• Partner with the President & CEO, GE Healthcare Intercontinental Region to lead Hoshin-Kanri process and execution, and be part of the formation team to make the Intercontinental Region as a value adding structure
• Drive the commercial transformation, along with the Region & Sub Region CEOs, SBU leaders, and Functional Leaders to maximize the growth potential of this region.
• Implement the Business System, including daily management metrics, review and problem-solving cadence and agenda, process to address KPI and CVD (core value drivers); implementing lean tools and training programs to enable PSP/action planning
• Establish a lean competency program to shape the region: ensures the application of globally recognized standards for lean principles and practices, serves as a benchmark for achievements, provides a common roadmap for continuous improvement & workforce development
• Develop capability across the spectrum from the tactical (deployment and application of principles, concepts and methods) to the strategic (a transformation that deeply impacts a key value stream)
• Deployment of this Lean Business System must result in improved EBITDA (profitability), Free Cash Flow, market share growth and productivity
• Committed to peer leadership and partnership – coach, and partner with the business leaders, functional leaders, Plant GMs and Site Lean Leaders in development of Lean Strategy
• Develop Lean Culture and Increased lean awareness across GE Healthcare in Intercontinental Region
• Develop and deliver Lean Training Plans

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Leader with a lean mindset, with a record of implementing significant changes in quantified results and culture changes with 10+ years of commercial experience.
• Ability to respond and appreciate a diverse culture within different parts of the region
• Thorough understanding of diversity principles, practices, and procedures, and measuring of diversity and cross-cultural resource initiatives for return on investment.
• A clear thinker with the ability to deconstruct, reconstruct, and map the system.
• Demonstrated Leadership experience, and to share best practices
• Strong Influencing and coaching skills
• Strong listening skills
• Be able to demonstrate emotional resilience in the organisation
• Good business acumen and horizontal collaboration capability
