Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of technicians, mechanics, and apprentices, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective workshop operations.
Work Coordination: Assign tasks and prioritize work orders based on deadlines, skill levels, and workshop capacity. Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion of projects.
Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards by conducting regular inspections, reviewing completed work, and ensuring adherence to established procedures and industry standards.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of automotive performance to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving guidance to team members when needed.
Customer Service: Interact with customers, providing exceptional service by addressing inquiries, offering advice, and discussing performance enhancement options. Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including parts ordering, receiving, and organizing, to ensure availability for timely project completion.
Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce adherence to safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff members.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate workshop operations and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing streamlined processes, and enhancing overall efficiency.
Requirements:
