What will you do?
- Ensure compliance of statutory and Group Actual reported books (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.) prepared by FISS and local teams.
- Ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards (eg. General ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.)
- Identify, monitor and addressee Risks & Opportunities in statutory and Group Actual reported books across MEA
- Manage Tax accounting & filings, in coordination with Tax teams
- Manage external stakeholder relations (incl. auditors)
- Accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and /or for external audiences (compliance reporting) including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, budget reporting, etc.)
- Support the simplification and optimization of Legal entities set-up
- Propose financial technical advice and support for the business needs
- Support IFRS and Group accounting rules Trainings across MEA Accounting and Finance Functions
- Collaborate within Finance Community to support the overall function goals and participate actively to Accounting community
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Solid experience (6 years minimum) in accounting, covering various topics or processes
- Project management
- IFRS Environment
- Lead/Influence big teams/management skills/manage remote teams
- Advanced skills in accounting in local and group accounting rules (academic like business school or professional certificate like CPA)
- Digital skills
- Tax, audit, internal compliance, treasury, legal knowledge
- (Controlling experience/knowledge)
