Experience : Reporting directly to the CEO you will be responsible for the effective management of all financial tasks, including accounting, treasury, compliance, financial reporting and controlling, tax, and development of internal control policies and procedures. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company. Liaise with the group in respect of financial issues. Liaise with the company’s auditors. Key Responsibilities • Ensures timely closure of local books on a monthly basis to deliver on time monthly, quarterly and annual accounts in compliance with IFRS. Monthly submission of the reporting package to the group (accounting and KPIs) and all monthly controlling reports. • Prepares financial summaries, reports, analysis, cost-benefit analysis and/or ad-hoc financial reports as required by the Senior Management. • Prepare the commentary file for explaining the deviations against the budget and Last Year’s performance • Prepare, organize, and send timely payment notifications and reminders to buyers based on the payment plans. • Prepare, organize, and send timely payment notifications and reminders to customers based on the payment plans. • Prepares the annual budgets (P&L and CAPEX) along with associated planning requirements (e.g. KPIs); prepares the periodic forecasts for P&L. • Analyses the potential development cases and prepare the request for investment paper to be submitted for group approval • Establishes and implements the procedures for cash-desk (based on local laws and headquarters treasury department regulations) • Establishes and implements the procedures for bank (e.g. no of banks allowed, no of bank accounts allowed, electronically payments, electronically currency exchange, etc) • Periodically cash flow forecast, related borrowing needs, and available funds. • Ensures entity level legal & tax compliance with corporate / tax laws, rules, /procedures, including VAT legislation / practice / procedures. • Manage and retain relationships with various vendors, and manage their contracts • Manage and retain relationships with clients’ financial teams, and manage their contracts • Oversee HR function, coordinating with external service providers (payroll, benefits, and general HR) and internal staff responsible for various aspects of HR Requirements • Qualified Accountant; ACCA would be a plus; • Minimum 2+ years at a Managerial / Chief Accountant Level • Solid technical accounting skills, including IFRS • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Experience in working within a multicultural environment.
