We are looking for OPD NURSE MANAGER to supervise existing staff. The nurse manager sets the standard of care in a healthcare facility and oversee the entire operational requirement needed for the OPD department
Job Profile :
Responsible for the clinical/administrative activities of assigned department/unit, leads, directs, coordinates, and manages nursing, allied health/paramedical and administrative staff within the assigned department/unit.
Provides clinical expertise and promotes evidence-based practice.
Provides senior leadership and management to the critical care nursing workforce, ensuring that all staff has regular appraisals, and clinical supervision and can professionally develop.
Formulates and implements risk reduction strategies which include environmental risk management, and patient clinical risk management. ·
Provides leadership and coordination for any circumstances requiring immediate response, resolution, or referral during regular rounding on assigned departments/unit. ·
Contributes to the annual manpower plan for assigned department/unit and works closely with the Director of Nursing and recruitment team to participate in the recruitment process of new team members. ·
Facilitates the incorporation of patient safety and journey to the pathway of excellence principles into hospital nursing care. ·
Facilitates optimum patient flow in the unit or department through coordination between unit leadership staff and patient flow team.
Qualifications Desired:
Bachelor’s in Nursing
Current RN License (DHA License or DHA Eligibility )
Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
Minimum Work Experience :
5 years clinical / hospital experience as OPD Nurse Manager
