If so, then EPAM has an amazing opportunity for a Director of Architecture & Technology Consulting Solutions reporting to the Practice CTO.
The role requires a strong background in the Retail sector (both online and offline) where you will be responsible for leading consulting, designing enterprise-level architecture, delving into low-level detail designs as well as implementation of best practices, SDLC, and code quality across all processes. Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities
- Lead innovation and oversee DevSecOps practices to ensure the security of our technology solutions
- Collaborate closely with key product managers and delivery managers to align technology with business goals
- Manage a team of architects, engineers, and DevOps professionals, providing mentorship and guidance
- Understand mobile development, preferably with knowledge of react native, to support our multi-platform approach
- Stay updated on modern techniques, technology, and architecture principles, including decomposable architecture, MACH, and BFF as well as standard topology and the Dora project principles
- Provide Technology Consulting services covering areas such as architectural review, audit, architectural road-mapping and technical governance
- Formulate and present technology business cases across architecture, technology, strategy, IT organisational change management
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar or relevant work experience
- Industry visionary and avid technologist at heart with extensive experience in Retail domain architecture, both online and offline
- Expertise in enterprise architecture design and the ability to delve into low-level technical details
- Previous accountability for DevSecOps practices
- Proven track record of implementing best practices, SDLC, and ensuring high code quality
- Familiarity with modern architectural principles, decomposable architecture, MACH, and BFF
- Understanding of mobile development, preferably with experience in react native
- Knowledge of standard topology and the Dora project principles
- Excellent ability to influence and guide senior management on technical solutions combined with a consultative problem solving approach
- Strong experience in leadings teams of architects, engineers, and DevOps professionals
- Knowledge of the Middle East market is desirable
- Fluent in English and ideally Arabic
