Job Purpose
Effective cash, credit card and fleet card transaction processing.
Dimensions
1. Assure that all repairs and services are done properly all the time.
2. Responsible for Cleanliness of assigned area.
3. Ensure customer satisfaction.
Principal Accountabilities
1. TILL MANAGEMENT
1. Operate cash register or point-of-sale terminal;
2. Strictly implements the issuances of receipts in all transactions;
3. Properly disburses cash for approved vouchers;
4. Indicates correct data and accounting codes on all written reports;
5. Accurately and orderly prepares Shift Sales Report
6. Records the opening/closing inventory on all products and other merchandise displayed in his/her area of responsibility;
7. Secures all collections under his/her custody;
8. Strictly implements all credit policies
9. Maintains a complete set of all necessary documents (eg. Official receipt, credit card invoices) available in the lounge or reception area;
10. Maintains an ample supply of reading materials in the customer waiting area;
11. Checks all communication systems (telephone lines, data lines) are in good working conditions and reports to the supervisor if they are not; Performs all other tasks that may be assigned by his superiors from time to time.
12. Checks regularly if the customer is comfortable;
Minimum Requirements:
a) Automobile diploma/ graduate up to College level.
b) Experience as a cashier in a car service center will be an advantage.
c) Customer focused. With a great appreciation for customer service.
d) Good proficiency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is an advantage but not required.
e) Highly computer proficient with skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
