The Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations for High Growth Markets will oversee and inspire a workforce of sales, marketing, and service teams throughout several regions. This position reports to the President, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, and will be hybrid located in Dubai. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be responsible for leading direct and distributed teams of 2,200 sales and support professionals located in India, Turkey, Russia, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific except for China. The company has a mix of direct, hybrid, and distributors’ business models. The total annual revenues responsibility for this position is $1 billion.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop annual budgets based on achieving above-market growth by product line and by geography. Deliver or exceed budgeted performance.
Drive rigorous commercial processes across a decentralized site structure, including strong focus on daily management at the local level.
Define the overall strategy for the sales and services functions with short-and long-term plans in place to execute the strategy.
Build and develop a high-performance team. Constantly maintain a mindset focused on recruiting high-performing talent at all levels.
Provide leadership in measuring and improving results through a metrics-driven, continuous improvement culture; Ensure best practices are shared across High Growth Markets.
Advocate for the customer, for product quality and for providing excellent customer solutions
Demonstrate ability to bring a strong voice to support the HGM business, raise important issues and advocate for opportunities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years of experience OR Masters/Doctoral degree with 18+ years of experience in diagnostics, medical device, or life science industry
6+ years managing people with demonstrated ability to attract, develop and retain high performing talent.
History of working in positions of increasing sales management responsibility leading teams in multiple countries, ideally in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa or APAC (Asia Pacific).
A proven track record of Successful P&L management and growth achievements driving profitable business growth though organic and inorganic growth strategies.
Experience incorporating cogent competitive analysis, pricing and promotional programs into commercial strategies
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in capital equipment and consumables intensive business.
