Sales / Business Development Manager for the MEN region who will be responsible for building and developing the business within the region with clients within the Hydrogen Electrolyzer market.
Key Deliverable
Prospecting, identifying business opportunities, developing the customer portfolio and relationships with potential customers Work with global & regional sales leaders to develop regional sales plans, following the regional business strategy.
Promote and provide solutions to customers through various events, workshops, and conferences. Manage sales pipeline, from lead generation to sales conclusion, and after-sales service.
Establish new relationships and explore potential business opportunities with key customers, EPC, channel partners and other important influencers in the MEN region hydrogen market.
Study capabilities of the company to take charge of a project. Communicate customer’s requirements to the technical team. Bid management, coordinating internal resources to prepare the tender and meet customer requirements. Develop the commercial proposal by coordinating internal resources: technical, financial, legal.
Negotiate with clients to close business; liaise with the internal department such as demand forecast, payment collection, logistics etc. to ensure that the solution meets the customer’s requirements.
Follow up the contract and ensure all the commitments are well respected, work in collaboration with the Pre-Sales Manager/ Technical Delivery Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above; 5+ years with strong experience in B2B market in hydrogen/electrolyzer, renewable energy, electric power, oil & gas, and or chemicals industries, with a strong renewable energy network.
Good understanding of the green hydrogen market and the value chains. Preferably with a technical background, understanding of the technologies involved in hydrogen production or hydrogen projects with EPC.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the capacity to start a new activity from scratch, enjoying the challenge of problem-solving, possess the ability to grow with the company.
Good sales processes and methodologies, highly driven and self-motivated.
Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure. Ability to network, and creating new customer relationships, and interface with clients on a global platform.
Fluent in English, Arabic, and a good command of another language {French} is desirable. Capable of working in cross region and cross-cultural environments and flexible to travel.
