Product Owner is an intermediate management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to achieve objectives and solve problems based on analysis of information
• Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedent
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
• Work closely with onsite & offshore teams for the requirements analysis & solutions design
• Improve process efficiencies in support of unit objectives and recommend new work procedures
• Support quality and control function, including performing risk assessments/tests and evaluating process procedure changes
• Play a leading role in crafting user stories and sign off on feature acceptance, all the while adhering to the agile process constituted for the managing the project
• Interface with the engineering team for assessing capabilities and alternatives and own the definition and prioritization of product releases
• Create release notes, demo scripts, conduct feature demos for stakeholders, and conduct product demos for stakeholders/clients
• Documentation for the BRDs and go into the Low Level Design for the solution.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience as BA/ Product Owner
• Should be well versed in Government domain is a must, Healthcare is a plus
• Understand very well the TDRA standards and the 7 stars.
• Awareness of agile methodology
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational and presentation skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to manage a diverse project portfolio
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
