As Senior Verifier you will be expected to undertake processing activities, within established policies and procedures, to support the activities in Treasury & Investment Operations department efficiently and effectively. You will need to ensure efficient and prompt settlements, accounting, reconciliation procedures and availability of adequate controls to mitigate operational risks while maintaining end-to- end ownership.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- To complete the checking of processing transactions in the Treasury & Investment Operations desk while ensuring quality and timely completion of the daily processing functions.
- Timely accounting and settlement of investment transactions and ensuring despatch of trade confirmations. Provide regular inputs to enhance the Treasury & Investment Operations Process Manual.
- Respond to customers’ complaints, resolve minor issues and escalate unresolved issues to the higher Levels, as per the established procedures, to ensure that customer-based operational issues are tackled expeditiously. Customer centricity with a constant customer first approach.
- Ensure to comply with the audit requirements, internal and external reporting obligations etc in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the Bank
- Take active interest to build skills and develop self to hold higher responsibilities
- To take responsibility of TIOD client’s satisfaction rating and End to End ownership of products and processes in TIOD.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all deals on a daily basis, accounting, documentation, and ancillary support functions related to processing such as filing, archiving, and call backs of the transactions in TIOD. Products coverage include – Investment deals – Bonds/Equities/Mutual Funds, Islamic Deals, REPO, TD, FXMM and Derivatives deals:
o Timely processing of client investment trades in Matrix
o To capture all corporate action events for Bonds Equities and Funds in Matrix
o Settlement instructions in Clearstream/All Funds
o Processing of trades of the Proprietary Investments in Quantum on a timely basis
o UAE Central Bank Monetary bills settlement in Euroclear
o Perform call back on derivatives, FXMM and investment deals for the day
o Cash management at Saxo, Clearsteam, Euroclear and AFB and related SWIFTs
o Rate and pricing updates on the Bank’s Systems
o Ensure Client on boarding in completed with respective documentation and signatures
o Reconcile cash, GL and P&L accounts with Nostros/Custodian daily
o Perform Monthly Cash and Security Positon Reconciliations
o Process the Settlement of FXMM, TD, Derivatives and Islamic deals in Quantum for Treasury
o Settlements in Deposit Book, DD Condor, MarkitWire.
o Breaks reported by recon department are matched and responded to and knock off entries cleared
o Saxo Investr, Equity Trader, Self Investor and Margin Trader deals processing, corporate actions, and recon
