THE ROLE:
Position will be responsible to Identify, develop, manage, and exceed the country Special Cargo Business and increase the market share.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop market share/ turnover for CMA CGM product, service, or customer to commercial strategy
Identify the commercial market opportunities for key customers.
Offer timely quotations and solutions on Special Cargo inquiries to customers and actively sell our products and services.
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
Establish as expert in Special Cargo with in-depth knowledge and competence in this segment.
Promote CMA CGM Support Group Services and VAS (e-commerce, insurance, intermodal, CCLOG…)
Build relationships with specific key customers to ensure focus on both market development and adjustment of SOP’s.
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Must have a University Degree in International Trade, Logistics, or Transport .
5 years minimum experience in a shipping business development position with at least 2 years handling Special Cargo
Proactive, perfectly fluent in English, French or Arabic speaking is a plus, with a very good command of Office and computer tools.
Influential and have good interpersonal skills, which will enable you to succeed in the position.
Strong knowledge of industry trends ,competition and market .
Excellent negotiation and Pricing skills.
