In this role, you will serve as the primary IT contact for the leadership of a Clarivate business segment (President, EVP, SVP, VPs) or of Clarivates Shared Services business units (Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, etc.). In this role, you will connect, orchestrate and navigate the IT organization on behalf of your business partners to shape demand for capabilities and services, while ensuring that potential business value is captured, optimized, and recognized.
You will also partner with other BRMs, IT leaders and IT project managers to own the business portfolio of IT needs, messaging to business leaders, and support strategy alignment. Through effective relationship management, the BRM works to identify opportunities for IT to support and advance business objectives.
Additionally, the Sr. BRM shapes business demand into supply by 1) partnering with appropriate resources to facilitate the creation of idea documents, business cases, and value plans; 2) ensuring value optimization and communication; and 3) enabling continuous improvement in IT operations.
About You experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or marketingor related field of study
5 years of relationship-building and account management experience or equivalent business facing technology role

What will you be doing in this role?
Strategic Partnering and Strategy
Partner with business leadership to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, including project planning, scoping, and budgeting.
Serve as the expert of your covered area of business within IT, becoming a resource for IT leadership as well as your business partners.
Identify opportunities to improve IT services and develop plans for implementation.
Partnership and Delivery
Lead as the strategic interface between Global IT and business stakeholders to stimulate, surface, and shape business demand; shepherd business needs through IT roadmap creation and delivery; and ensure that business value is captured.
Develop a deep knowledge of the business and build positive cross-functional relationships.
Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication.
Measure and communicate business value realized with the business partner on a periodic basis.
