Managing the demand and supply functions. Communication with related stakeholders internally and externally to ensure a timely and accurate Supply .

Responsibilities

• Adhere defined Supply Chain strategies, processes and systems.
• Review Customer contracts, agreements, contractual obligations and safety stocks etc.
• Ensure forecast is in time and correctly reported.
• Identify and analyze demand planning elements (e.g. statistical forecast, sales input etc.) to build unconstrained plan.
• Work on product segmentations.
• Working on APO MRP SAP system is mandatory
• Drive the demand review processes (Operational & Tactical S&OP).
• Work on forecast accuracy.
• Identify deviations from expected results and resolve issues.
• Validate forecast statistical models and operate on an exception-based planning routine.
• Change Management: Continuously improvement on processes and tools.
• Track material orders and ensure smooth flow of supply without interruption.
• Manage the Inventory and planning to meet the Business Target.
• Generate suggestions for cost negotiation and optimization.
• Plan the production and guarantee the material’s availability before the production date.
• Maintain the demand planning master data.
• Continuously seek for Marketing and Sales insights by cross-functional exchange.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Business Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics or Apprenticeship with relevant work experience
• 3 -5 years work experience as Material Planner
• Experience of Supply Chain management and processes
• Expert in SAP and MRP planning
• Strong Excel knowledge and reporting skills
• Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities
• Strong analytical skills and mathematical/statistical knowledge; Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) is an advantage
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills
• Language skills: English mandatory. Other languages such as Arabic would be advantageous
