Cigna is looking for a Business Communications and Events Marketing Specialist to serve as an expert writing resource for Cigna’s business across the Middle East and Africa region.
The position provides support to key Marketing functions including
content development
media and agency relations
event management
business communication
marketing project management
Key Responsibilities
Content Management : Developing long-form content for the needs of the business. Write clear marketing copy, and stakeholder and member communication to align with business needs and regulatory updates
Reputation Management : Maintain a favorable public image for Cigna by communicating programs, accomplishments, and/or points of view.
Marketing & Event Management : Support marketing events with planning and at-event support to further the organization’s stakeholder goals, via events and sponsorships
Collaboration & Quality assurance: Collaborate to ensure content is accurate, complete, and timely. Proofread documents to ensure it meets Cigna standards
Creativity : Creative design input, including innovative video edits, designing presentation toolkits, supporting sales with creative and unique ideas
Stakeholder management and delivery
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English or related discipline and at least 3 years experience in content writing, communications, or a public relations agency
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven record of developing and delivering content for public consumption
Must be a confident communicator and presenter
Proven analytical skills
Tact and discretion to work with Cigna employees and confidential business information
Creative judgment and strong content development skills
