Purpose Statement:

The Corporate Communications team develops innovative and impactful communications messages to further strengthen Boston Scientific’s reputation as a leading healthcare company with employees and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Corporate Communications Sr, Specialist, this role is responsible for supporting the execution of corporate communications within the GEM Region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Corporate Communications Team in creating, editing, and publishing regular and engaging communications for EMEA employees and external channel partners.
• Develop comprehensive skills and an in-depth understanding of communications tools – for example office 365, eSignage and poppulo email tools – to effectively support the team’s publishing process.
• Support the team’s vision of a digital workplace. Maintain and create EMEA intranet site pages and content as instructed by team, ensuring an engaging experience for all users. Support other publishers with guidelines and tools.
• Manage creative agencies to ensure timely production of graphics and videos to BSC brand standards.
• Support the publication of engagement statistics and metrics reports as requested by the team, helping to identify insights that give team opportunities to improve communications services.
• Act as a contact person in Dubai Office for Corporate Communication activities (ie: Town Halls organization, branding requests, liaison with Human Resource, Marketing Excellence teams)
  • Participate in, and on request lead, internal comms and other corporate communications projects as requested.
  • Maintain the social media editorial calendar, following up with content owners to make sure we meet the high-performance standards.
  • Produce social media assets (GIFs, Cards, short videos) and draft posts.
  • Support community management, monitoring, and audience engagement activities.
  • Act as ccommunications champion by consistently setting high standards in personal communication and encouraging colleagues to adopt good internal communication practices.
    
  • Support maintenance of EMEA corporate materials and corporate website pages on www.bostonscientific.eu

What are we looking for in you?

Language used in company is English, so native, or equivalent level of English is desirable.

Studying communications related degree and / or with some general experience of working in communications related role or large company.

• Positive can-do & proactive attitude, being highly creative, and with the ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Humanities or similar.
• Available to sign a 9-month contract (duration according to maternity leave)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, strong follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Video editing ability a plus
• Previous experience in the same role in a company or a communication agency is a plus.
