Are you an experienced, highly energetic Senior Finance Manager with a background of either in Logistics or shipping, freight forwarding then you are the one we are looking for? The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for under limited supervision, overseeing and involving the Finance & Accounting aspects of the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible in supervising the preparation and maintenance of full sets of accounts, forecast accounts receivables and payables.
• Responsible in preparing financial report and annual budget
• Responsible in overseeing the funding activities, budgets, management reports and implement internal control system improvements
• Responsible in preparing of group/statutory financial statements, liaising with auditor and tax agents etc.,
• Responsible in implementing finance procedures, handle structuring of new property investments and setting up cost control policy
• Responsible to interpret and formulate revenue improvement plan
• Responsible in ensuring compliance of local laws implemented by the state related to taxes and handing financial transactions
• Responsible in leading and managing continuous improvement projects for Finance department excellence
• Responsible in handling quarterly submission of VAT, annual tax submission and compliance matters
• Responsible to monitor the financial position, financial performance and cash flows of the company and perform fund transfer
• Review of monthly management accounts for each division
• Review of balance sheet reconciliations and monthly KPI’s
• Supervision of the reconciliation of inter-company accounts and recharges including loan account balances
• Support the group company with monthly commentary on variances from budget and prior month/year performance
• Manage the financial external audits, with support of the subordinates
• Line Manage a team on a day-to day basis, providing coaching and mentoring
• Support the preparation of the Monthly accounts submission to Group and Group reporting packs
• Review and drive process improvements within the accounts team

Required Education / Skills / Experience:

• Must be a CA or CPA with demonstrable experience and responsibilities in management accounting and financial accounting.
• At least 10 years’ experience in total and at least 5 years in UAE.
• Relevant experience with Shipping / Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry background will be a bonus
• Proven line management experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate in Arabic (a basic level).
