We are looking for a project management expert to join our finance team and support our M&A activities.
Location this role can work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Leading the E2E finance integration process both strategically and tactically, as the primary POC for all finance tracks
- Creating the finance integration plan, organizing Day1 activities, and executing the ongoing integration activities through plan completion
- Managing and executing the finance communication strategy, tools, and cadence for project planning, status readouts and updates
- Coordinating the finance due diligence team activities and communicating all findings and impacts with Corporate Development Integration
- Leading the transitional finance activities around treasury, payroll and procurement
- Building and cultivating strong relationships with integration stakeholders at all levels (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Clearing, Tech, BI, FP&A etc.)
- Develop of projected P&L, pro forma financials, synergy estimation and return metrics;
- Lead Finance workstream meetings and collaborate with stakeholders on making key decision and/or taking key actions to moving the integration forward
- Understanding and managing Finance handoffs and dependencies
- Managing multiple integrations concurrently while also assisting in building out the Finance integration toolset (e.g. playbooks, process flows, work plans)
- Proactively identify integration areas for improvement and take these opportunities to collaborate in designing solutions and updating our toolset and processes
- Provide guidance and training to portfolios team of acquired business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
- 6+ years of combined experience as a project manager or leading consulting projects
- Experience documenting, communicating and responding quickly to inquiries and challenges
- Proven leadership skills with experience working with a high degree of ambiguity
- Demonstrated experience operating in an unstructured & collaborative environment
- Track record of managing cross functional teams
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to align on a shared vision
