What we’re looking for?

A Senior Finance Executive to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

The Senior Finance Executive’s responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

What you’ll be doing?

• Maintain and analyze everyday financial activities
• Provide advice and guidance on future financial plans.
• Typical duties would include maintaining books of accounts, reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts, preparing MIS reports and financial forecasts.
• In charge of the monthly accounting reporting of several entities of the Region
• Conduct ad hoc analysis on global cash forecast and any required treasury analysis
• Have a key role in overall ERP Implementation – Oracle / Oracle Net Suite, or any other promising ERP.
• Manage the month-end closing process.
• Prepare monthly schedules, reconciliations & intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with various business functions to ensure timely recording of financial transactions in ERP.
• Ensure availability of accurate data & execution of payment through ERP & banking channels.
• Ensure accuracy of transactions in Trial Balance.
• Coordinate with suppliers for month-end SOA’s & reconciliations to ensure costs allocations are accurate.
• Manage fixed Assets & inventory including depreciation/amortization schedules.
• Support in the improvement of existing & the creation of new SOPs.
• Follow accounting policies, procedures & strategic plans in line with directives of management.

Who you are?

• Proven work experience as an Accountant for at least 2-4 years
• Self-driven and self-starter individual that requires minimum supervision
• Passionate about working for a Start up
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Hands-on experience with Oracle accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• MBA in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
