Sitting within the Training Operations team, the Resource Operations Specialist will be responsible for all resource related reporting and analytics, business goal tracking, forecasting, assignment and delivery pipeline management, and will play a pivotal role in driving operational change and efficiencies within AWS Training and Certification across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The successful candidate will need to collaborate effectively with internal end-users, cross-functional data teams, training managers, instructors and Senior Managers to solve problems and implement new reporting solutions.

You should be passionate about developing insights and providing business critical information that enables dynamic decision-making using new technology.

Reporting to the Resource Operations Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Develop key resourcing support systems / processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve attainment objectives.
• Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to the sales and delivery teams.
• Partner closely with Sales and Operations Leads to set ambitious yet achievable goals for the sales and delivery organization, then put a framework in place to report, analyze, and measure progress against them.
• Manage continuously-evolving forecast and capacity models and methodologies, taking ownership of resource and delivery performance analysis.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to scope, build and deliver initiatives / projects that streamline operations for growth.
• Design, develop and deliver resource and delivery forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses and dashboards that drives business decisions
• Use your insight to drive the overall strategic direction of the Training and Certification team, including, but not limited to growth in the commercial public training business
• Collaborate with regional business development and operations teams to understand where efficiencies can be achieved and refine the tools and processes needed to drive productivity

You will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
