BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
Relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results
Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
Experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools

Job summary
The MENA 3P finance team collaborates and partners with the business team on growth and profitability objectives and has an ownership and accountability for financial performance of the vertical. The team manages 3 marketplaces which involves a complex 5-channel structure namely FBA Core, Seller Flex, MFN Easy Ship (+Prime) and MFN Self Ship with a layer of domestic and Global Selling vs a standard 2-channel FBA-MFN structure in most locales. This involves governing decisions on channel economics, driving actions around fee, category mix and operations costs to provide channel of choice for SPs and enabling selection width. The team is responsible for Selection Economics framework roll-out in 2022 and 3P FCF initiatives, a key pillar for 3P Path to Profitability which requires close partnership with Fulfilment, Ops and Fees to scope out, track and deliver these initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
As a 3P finance partner, lead finance partnership with the 3P business leader and HoSS team with complete ownership of 3P (FBA, MFN) P&L. Drive the growth and profitability objectives for the business by providing direction and executing the plans. Bring Amazon best practices from Emerging and Established locales.
Lead the various finance mechanisms as finance partner:
- Lead the audit mechanisms like WBR process to monitor business performance. Hold teams accountable for meeting their plans, present risk mitigation, if any.
- Lead country discussions with Country lead; oversee the post-Sunrise launch programs, drive course correction, as needed.
- Lead the Forecasting cycles: OP1/2, Gui, 3YF; Drive forecasting accuracy by understanding drivers of the business; Use of building blocks to explain drivers.
- Participate in the month-end close process; Write clear, concise narratives to explain the P&L performance to leaders. Drive the MBR, QBR process.
- Be proactive to identify issues impacting the business, participate in Dive Deep, as needed
- Align Path to Profitability (PtP) goals, drive execution on specific PtP levers.
• MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience
• Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
• Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and mid-senior levels of management
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, and/or Cognos) or other financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), providing solutions based on results of ad hoc analyses to senior management for strategic decision-making
