Wood / Pallets Manufacturing Industry, with its headquarters in United Arab Emirates, is one of the leading providers of solutions dedicated to meet highly professional business standards and environment. We are hiring Pallets Sales, Business Development Manager (UAE / GCC Region) position, responsible for meeting or exceeding established Wooden Pallets sales volume by developing new accounts plus retaining and growing existing business.
You will receive a salary with Commission and annual bonus program based upon sales volume.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be located in UAE and hunt in GCC territory (mandatory), driving new business opportunities by being a spokesperson for the company. You will hunt new businesses and maintain those customers you have by being the go-to person for the above topics.
Establishes key objectives that focus on the importance of driving core and new business opportunities within in UAE / GCC with current and potential customers in market for Wood / Pallets Sales.
TASKS TO SOLVE:
· Develop and manage customer accounts in the GCC region, and hunt for new business.
· Identify, manage, and close multiple opportunities and projects at the same time.
· Develop our commercial business in your territory and ensure accurate overview and forecasts.
· Target, educate, and persuade new customers to use our company products.
· Working with our partners and distributors to extend, reach and capability.
· Generates new customers (both those we sell) plus retain and grow existing accounts by way of working as a “Pallets Manufacturers” with the account via proactively understanding and accommodating their needs.
· Must be able to interface with large national and regional headquarters accounts as well as locally owned or operated facilities.
· Develops and maintains account relationships, negotiates and closes deals on his/her own.
· Services customers communication needs inclusive of complaints.
· Working in conjunction with upper management, prepares and administers quotations to customers and outside vendors. In time becomes capable of doing same without upper managements close participation.
· Initiates and monitors appropriate sales objectives and action plans using various company reports to uncover account trends and implements appropriate actions.
· Executes various corporate on-line bids for pallets using unique forms supplied by customers or provides our own.
· Participate in the annual selling season of colored landscape mulch by calling on nurseries and landscape companies using all the same tools available to generate growth in the pallet business.
· Maintains daily logs of account activities and able to read, understand and utilize a variety of sales reports in order to anticipate and act on a customer’s needs.

· 5+ Years of business carrying experience in the Wood Manufacturing Industry, preferably within Sales / Business Development Management.
· Experience – Minimum 5 years (UAE) Sales Management, retail, supply chain, manufacturing and/or B2B selling.
· BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Track record of success consistently exceeding overall goals in Wood Manufacturing Industry sales.
· Entrepreneurial drive and ability to sell creative solutions into new markets.
· Confidence and track record in building a new territory.
· Comfortable calling at the senior executive level.
· Highly effective written, presentation, and closing skills.
· Ability to travel extensively/ Tender Sub missioning / Closing deals.
· Dynamic, high-energy self-starter.
· Fluency in English and any local language.
· Experience – Minimum 5 years (UAE) Sales Management, retail, supply chain, manufacturing and/or B2B selling.
· Accountability – Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her action
· Written – Ability to communicate in a professional manner, clearly and concisely.
