SALES COORDINATOR
Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division are looking to hire a Sales coordinator who will act as an administrator to support the work of country Executives, Regional and Country Managers in UAE and Oman on all aspects directed at developing Sales strategies / campaigns and to be the first point of contact with the Customer Service team. Administrators also provide a point of contact for customers with queries about orders or deliveries. An efficient sales support administrator contributes to quality customer service and helps the sales team meet its targets. They are also the organizers of the office and make sure that projects and orders are on time and should flag when things are running behind.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Update Master commercial databases by inputting most recent data from all sales staff in the region. The 3 x categories are: Distributors, KOL’s and Customers.
Update BU Sales Outlook file on a weekly basis ensuring all orders and pipeline queries are updated.
Support BU monthly forecast file using input from the Sales Outlook file to ensure that information is captured correctly and reliable forecasts are provided to the team.
Follow up on all orders with AIL, SD and Abon ensuring that orders are shipped timeously.
Sales Force management, uploads, data validation
Ensure all distribution partners have updated contracts and ensure that they are kept updated.
Distributor service fee schedules need to be updated on a monthly basis and ensure that invoices are paid timeously.
Maintain distributor and key stakeholder price lists and ensure that information is accurate and up to date at all times.
Log and follow up all sales leads
Clarify customer complaints, determine cause of problem and assist with resolution of the problem; follow up to ensure problem has been resolved.
Assist with documentation of bid requirements as well as submission of tender applications when required for all entities.
Process POR’s, new vendors via AIL for all sales activities in the region.
Ensure that payments for all POR’s are paid when due.
General secretarial / administrative duties e.g. assist with formatting of presentations, letters etc.
This person will also serve as a back up and/or support on adhoc basis the office administration.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING
University Degree is a must. Additional studies in Science is a plus, 5+ years of relevant experience
No healthcare experience needed but is a plus, ideally from the diagnostics field
Experience with CRM systems preferred
Strong command of English and Arabic languages (written & verbal).
