Digital Solutions Sales Specialist

You will be working as Digital Solutions Sales Specialist and will be part of Electrification Business Area for Smart Power based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible for demand generation and sales of ABB Ability energy and asset management offerings within a designated market segments in accordance with ABB Electrification Digital strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues and identify and develop sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

• management solutions to the customers by focusing on the volume, mix and profitability targets for an assigned business unit.
• Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full products or systems or services offerings and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout sales process.
• Prepare sales plans, performs regular status reviews, and propose recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls.
• Create added value for the customers and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicate details in accordance with ABB Electrification Digital offerings and strategies.
• Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to the customers in existing facilities and new projects.
• Identify and drive the development of new market, segment, customer profile related opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
• Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support collection and project management activities when needed.
• Prepare offers in coordination with the ABB Ability Market Development Manager. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in electrical distribution systems or energy management systems.
• Experience in Digital solutions sales or control systems sales or Software/ Software as a Service (SaaS) sales is a plus.
• Good knowledge of IoT and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
