The Role
Secondary Design and Technology Teacher
We are seeking an outstanding Design teacher to join the Secondary School as soon as possible.
Candidates need to be enthusiastic about teaching their subject to students in an inclusive school setting. Experience of teaching in an IB school is desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international education, creative in their thinking and a student of learning. The successful candidate will also be adaptable, motivated by challenge and an excellent classroom practitioner. Please see the job description for further details.
Taaleem

What do we look for?
All of our teachers must have either a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a PGCE or an equivalent qualification from around the world. Secondary school teachers and Primary specialists will also need a degree in the subject area that they wish to teach. Experience of teaching the IB programmes would be an advantage, as would experience of working in Dubai. However, a demonstrable alignment with the ethos of the IB and a genuine commitment to international-mindedness would compensate in many ways. Experience of using effective differentiation and assessment techniques are, however, essential.
