Manager/Director, Sales and Business Development

Our Business department is EVYD’s spearhead that identifies new markets to venture into and secure business. As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will lead the entire sales cycle to support our go-to-market plan for expansion into new regions and countries, and. You will also make pitches to clients and take ownership of commercial contracts.
This role reports to the President, Business and is based in the Middle East.
Your key responsibilities include:
Lead the entire sales cycle, including managing the proposal process, understanding corporate and government buying processes, and overseeing the development of detailed RFP assessments and responses, sales decks, and inputs from multiple stakeholders. Take ownership of commercial contracts drafting and reviews for both new and existing customers, collaborating with Legal and Finance departments. Utilize business value analysis to generate pricing and effectively negotiate pricing for proactive bids and proposals. Contribute to the go-to-market plan for expanding into the Middle East and other regions, including identifying target countries, securing new clients, and developing market entry strategies. Stay informed about industry trends and customer drivers, regularly meet with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy, and provide insights and recommendations. Drive lead generation efforts by identifying and contacting decision makers, reviewing potential business opportunities, selecting deals aligned with the company’s strategy, and coordinating pitch logistics. Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Medical teams to understand EVYD’s capabilities and effectively pitch clients.
Travel requirements
Frequent travel is required for this role (up to 50%).

Base technical skills
Proven experience in managing the entire sales cycle, including leading commercial proposals and understanding corporate and government buying processes. In-depth knowledge of the ecosystem of partners and competitors. Strong negotiation skills and ability to generate pricing based on business value analysis. Demonstrated success in driving business expansion into new regions and countries. Excellent understanding of industry trends, customer drivers, and market dynamics. Ability to generate new leads, identify decision makers, and evaluate potential business opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). 5 – 8 years’ experience in business consulting, sales, or a commercial role. Proven experience in B2G and B2B sales and negotiations. Ability to speak, read and write excellent English is required. The ability to speak in Mandarin and/ or Arabic and/or other regional languages to converse with internal and external stakeholders is an advantage.
