About our MEA Operations Team

Ingram Micro’s Operations team is responsible for Warehousing & Distribution activities across the regions.

We are now looking for a Consultant – Operations Excellence, MEA who will be joining the team. In this full-time job, you will be responsible for executing and driving warehouse and logistics operations across the MEA region. With solid leadership and organizational skills, you will be driving Ingram Micro’s operations toward further development and excellence. This position will require broad supply chain knowledge, deep data science and analyses, project management skills, and strong change management and communication skills

What will you do?

• You will support MEA Operations Lead for the new Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation in MEA warehouse sites in line with the Global & EMEA Operations IWM WMS rollout plan.
• You will nsure all MEA Operations projects are on track, so that accurate information is reliably captured and provides the necessary insight to Global, EMEA & MEA Management
• You will be a lead to Lean initiatives in MEA sites as per Lean Calendar and report progress to Operations Excellence – EMEA
• You will Implement an operational balanced scorecard (Safety, Security, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), delivery, and productivity) for the organization (across all key processes)
• You will ensure process standardization and proliferate best practices.
• You will support MEA Operations Lead regarding long-term planning, Investment Decision making i.e. CAPEX Planning
• You will keep a track and report of MEA OPEX_ Budget vs Actual inline to Global and EMEA Operations Budget
• You will keep a track and report of MEA KPI Goals in line with Global and EMEA Operations Goals

Which Talent do you bring?

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations Management position in the Middle East region
• You have experience in implementing and running a WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• You have managerial and supervisory experience including budgeting, recruitment, and people management is preferred.
• You have experience and/or exposure to deploying Continuous Improvement methodologies (preferably Lean/Six Sigma) in enterprises of comparable size will be an added advantage
• You demonstrate proven leadership and effective team building skills
• You have good multicultural communication skills in different cultural and business environments is preferable
• You have the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
• You are familiar with the development of processes and procedures to reduce costs and improve efficiency
