– Supervises and coordinates the performance of the Account Managers in such activities as maintaining contacts with clients, to solicit business for the Hotel
– Assists in the preparation of annual sales goals. Develops working plans to carry out such goals with given time frame; regularly compares achievements against goals; analyses variances and takes necessary corrections
– Confers with Account Managers and customers to discuss convention and function details and requirements. Negotiates, confirms and follows up on requirement for space, rooms, meals, banquet and others
– Ensures the coordination of Front Office, F&B, Banquet and Housekeeping on all domestic and international convention/seminar room bookings. Ascertains that activities and arrangements are correctly implemented
– Coordinates, follows-up and discusses with Account Managers on issues, problems, undertakings, sales activities, etc., during weekly meetings or whenever necessary
– Personally assists Accounts Managers in the handling and resolving of difficult issues, other customer problems, etc
– Develops methods and ideas to most efficiently maximize sales, in coordination with the Assistant / Director of Sales & Marketing
– Submits summary of Daily Sales Call and Activity Reports
– Analyses sales / market potentials and submits reports to the Assistant/Director of Sales & Marketing for both domestic and international markets
– Goes on sales trips to promote and solicit business from international and foreign markets, as per sales trip schedule contained in the approved Sales & Marketing plan and budget
