HR Coordinator – Employee Relations
Applications are invited for the position of: HR Coordinator – Employee Relations
Key Accountabilities
Provides day-to-day employee relations-based advice and guidance to stakeholders (coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions and grievances).
Supports the development and implementation of cultural and engagement initiatives for junior level employees through a variety of different methods, enabling employees and managers to be more effective and encourage greater responsibility for their employees.
Conducts and monitors feedback from various sources including new hire surveys, employment engagement surveys, focus groups and exit interviews to understand possible areas of risk, departmental culture and needs to administer programs to improve the employee engagement and experience.
Participates in the communication and awareness of the bi-annual employee survey and dipstick surveys and supports the facilitation of action plans to address any areas of concern.
Ensures all disciplinary actions and grievances are documented and prepares report of findings and recommends corrective action ensuring timely and fair resolution in accordance with policies and processes.
Supports the effective delivery of a higher performing ER services and initiatives, through the further development and implementation of the innovative services.
Builds relationships with all employees in order to foster a more open and communicative environment, and provides support to all employees in relation to understanding Company policies and processes.
Makes recommendations and provides advice to effectively resolve problems, by using judgment consistent within standards, policies and procedures supporting local employment law.
Qualification:
Bachelor;s degree in business administration or HR or equivalent, CIPD is desirable
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum 4 years; experience in employee relations and supporting the provision of services related to employee engagement, employee relations and welfare.
Experience gained within a large organization and must have led a number company-wide ER initiatives and services.

Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels
Achievement orientated and problem-solving capabilities
Clearly explain options and solutions to end-users
Demonstrates patience in dealing with complex and time-consuming issues
Relationship skills with employees and managers.
