ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Analyst will assist the Head of Commercial, the CEO and the Business Development Manager in analysing the company ’ s external environment, preparing reports and presentations and providing general support information & market analysis to the Commercial and BD functions. The Business Analyst will also support business analytical requirement for Business development project and General management projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the Business Development & General Management projects
- Critical operational analysis in support of BD and General Management
Create and maintain a corporate intelligence database
- Provide market studies, analysis and recommendations for new projects and opportunities such as M&A.
- Produce a comprehensive peer group benchmarking study on a quarterly basis.
- Follow, consolidate and analyze news stories from the OSV and broader OFS industries to identify emerging themes, opportunities and threats.
- Client analysis, and market and segment entry analysis.
Creation of Board and analyst material
- Assist in the preparation of the company’s annual reports, quarterly presentations and credit and banking presentations, if needed.
- Coordinate the preparation of Board material in collaboration with Finance and other relevant functions.
Support corporate presentations, meetings, banking and analyst events
- Coordinate the company’s participation in relevant events in coordination with consultants and organizers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field.
Minimum Experience:
- 3 to 5 years’ work experience in a strategic function, business consulting role or research -based industry within the Oil and Gas or Marine sector.

- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software suite (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
