Key Responsibility:

Ø Responsible for the overall purchasing activities, management and monitoring of inventory, coordinating receiving and shipment of goods and providing general logistics support.

Ø Responsible for the supervision of the inbound and outbound traffic, managing the buying and delivery process of goods or services and the placement and delivery of purchase orders.

Ø Maintain the quality of inventory being held.

Ø Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations.

Job Description:

Ø To ensure out of stocks and opportunity losses are completely eliminated by better and improved planning processes.

Ø To work towards improving the accuracy and reliability of the Sales Forecast through projection of the most accurate Customer Demand, collaboratively along with the sales, and suppliers’ representatives.

Ø Establish and review demand plan / baseline rolling forecasts for multiple time horizons based on trend analysis, historical data and planned sales targets. Preparing collaborative demand plans based on planned growth rates and in market activities.

Ø Maintaining quality of inventory for the respective division /agency though continues assessment of aging, non-moving and shelf life of stocks and providing feedback to sales teams.

Ø Ensure opportunity loss/out of stocks is minimized by bridging the gap between supply and demand and improved forecasting / planning.

Ø Ensuring proactive planning is in place taking into consideration the supply constraints.

Ø Preparing and maintaining accurate and timely inventory reports and conducting the MFR

Ø Maintain strong communication channels and information flow with internal and external contacts

The Successful Applicant

· The successful candidate must have 2 to 5 years’ experience in demand planning and procurement in Food Service/F&B/FMCG Distribution Company in UAE.

· You must have gained experience in a developed market place / multinational organization.

· It is essential that you hold a College Degree.

· With UAE Driving License preferably.
