Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve the set Equipment sales for the area / product assigned.
• Project and Dealer sales business expansion.
  
• Preparing weekly & monthly sales forecast & achieving the same (forecast based on plan/target assigned).
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods in line with policy and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of Equipment, business growth, and customer satisfaction
• Plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including sales revenue
• Responsible for cold calls, prospecting, estimating, pricing and creating quotations, pre-bid qualifications, pre-bid contracts, RFI’s, contract scope issues, order processing, shop drawings, change orders and relationship selling and the development of a geographic sales area
• Establishing relationships with end users, facility management companies, new customers from various industrial segments, and retain existing customer base
• Use customer and prospective contact activity tools and systems and update relevant information held in these systems
• Attend training and to develop relevant product knowledge, techniques and skills.
• Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment

Skills & Experience:

• The ideal candidate will be proactive and self-driven
• This position demands a results-oriented approach coupled with high-energy, reliability and personal discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ strong outdoor sales experience and ability to sell high value equipment
• Must possess the ability to present as a professional with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in Equipment/construction/capital equipment and Equipment industry highly advantageous
• Strong presentation, time management skills and knowledge of MS Office essential
• “Hunter” style salesperson who has successfully delivered on sales/accounts/growth target
• Competitor knowledge/experience an advantage
• Organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and an intense desire to work in the door business

• You are detail-oriented, organized and known for follow-up habits. You’re a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator
• You can work independently but believe in teamwork. Your background includes a university degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: engineering, physics, construction science/management, or similar).
  
• Industry related experience would be highly considered. You have the ability to read, understand specifications/facility standards and technical aptitude in building construction, electromechanical and IT networking.
  
• Also, ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or in-the-field at a construction site or building facility.
