Job Summary

The Emiratization Manager is responsible for supporting the effective operation and development of the IFFCO Emiratization program. The incumbent facilitates recruitment, development, and retention of UAE National human capital. This position is reserved for UAE Nationals.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepares and recommends senior management to develop and disseminate appropriate Emiratization policies and procedures.
• Participates in the review of IFFCO’s regulations, policies and procedures to ensure that any barriers for UAE National employment are identified and reduced or removed
• Ensures running of effective UAE National recruitment and development programs.
• Sets nationalization targets and works with senior management to identify positions and departments to be filled exclusively with UAE Nationals
• Collaborates with Universities, Colleges and Government Bodies to develop programs that encourage the recruitment and development of UAE National Human Capital.
• Advises on UAE National employee relations issues
• Supports Emirati workforce development and line managers through the planning, delivery, and evaluation of career plan programs, professional development activities and retention strategies
• Provides other training and coaching to line management as required
• Conducts internal surveys, market research, and networks with other HR professionals to ensure that IFFCO’s Emiratization program embraces current best practices
• Develops and maintains accurate records, reports and documentation pertaining to Emiratization-related initiatives.
• Supports the organization of IFFCO Emiratization campaigns and events within the community as required
• Builds and maintains relationships with external partners and vendors; manages suppliers of goods and services required for Emiratization Program.
• Produces metrics and reporting analysis for senior management as required
• Participates in the recruitment and selection and development of UAE Nationals.
• Keeps abreast of developments in the field by engaging in professional development activities
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Work experience requirement

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in leading and managing the Emiratization.
• Previous experience developing and executing nationalization programs from a strategic level
• Work experience within a multi-cultural environment would be advantageous

Qualification

A Bachelor’s Degree or post-graduate qualification in Human Resources, or other relevant discipline
