Purpose of the role

We are currently recruiting for a talented Learning and Development Manager to lead the Learning and Development Function for the MEA region. We are looking for an effective business partner to Director Hotel Learning, MEA. The focus of the role will be to create a robust talent pipeline to support growth in the region, build Organization Effectiveness and Winning Culture across the region.

Your day to day

• Deliver L&D Catalogue workshops for MEA. Focused on Hotel Learning and Development solutions for MEA, sustainability and success of the EMEAA Learning and Development offering.
• Align with IHG EMEAA learning and development standards and the MEA regional business strategy.
• Conduct quarterly catch-up calls with L&Q Managers across MEA.
• MEA process owner for learning and development policies and all training delivery under the guidance and leadership of the IMEA Learning and Development Director, tailoring regionally as appropriate to deliver.
• Support and Manage the learning, training and development offering for managed, franchised and NHOP hotels across MEA.
• Manage and support IHG Career Development Programs.
• Contribute to the wider EMEAA Learning and Development requirements (learning events).
• Ensure the country champions conduct monthly Learning & Quality Manager monthly performance calls.
• Deliver learning and development solutions through the Hotel-Based Learning and Development community and approved third party providers.

What we require from you

• Critical Expertise & Experience:
• Experience in Learning and Development role and/or experience as a HRBP in designing and delivering L&D solutions.
• Design, develop and craft L&D modules for business requirements, with seamless implementation of the same across the region.
• Strong leadership abilities to influence stakeholders to enhance and develop talent with L&D offerings.
• Organized, systematic and good communication skills.
• Excellent relationship building skills at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to work effectively with employees across diverse cultures and geographies.
• Excellent understanding of Training Budgets and ways to prove Training return in investment.
• Professional desire to continuously learn and understand best L&D practices, latest trends and build networks externally.
• 08-10 years of experience in Learning and Development or related roles with adequate breadth and complexity.
