The Production Team Hiring for Hire Manager Job at Dubai Full Time

Position Overview

The Hire Manager is responsible for managing the Hire Team, to take enquiries from customers to produce accurate quotes for dry hire and consumable sales. This role will report to Hire Director.

Key Job Responsibilities

People Development & Team Management

• Manage the Hire Team
• Value People by promoting a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
• Manage performance, addresses employee concerns, maintains adequate staffing levels, and facilitates team development.
• Manage the HR activities including selection, performance management, and learning.
• Provide focused and continued coaching to develop the skills of team members.
• Train employees on Encore standards for service and equipment, and verifies they are properly trained on company computer systems.
• Recommend team members for training opportunities, as needed.
• Ensure there is efficient staffing cover within the Hire Team
• On-site emergency first aider

Customer Service

• Deliver World-Class Service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers and various Encore supporting functions and departments, with a focus on retaining clients relationships
• Exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Enforce the guidelines in the Employee Guide and/or venue standards for the team to portray a polished and professional image.

Administration and Quoting

• Construct & calculate quotations to clients
• Enter new customers on to the systems, enter quotes on to the hire system, checking for equipment availability.
• Where required produce capex report and a business case for new investments
• Manage Hire contracts, payment terms and invoicing schedules
• Once confirmed ensure all the logistics, internal or external, are planned correctly and booked
• Organise equipment transfers between locations as required
• Do the Right Thing – Act a the out of hours emergency contact – receive calls and deal with any issues, whether that’s advice or organising extra/replacement equipment to be delivered
• To provide VAT receipts for all expenditure on your company credit card by the deadline

Job Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• 3+ years of audio visual experience
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with the use of computer hardware
• Proficiency with computer software and programmes, including the Internet and Microsoft Office
• Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.
