Al Jalil International General Trading Est Hiring for Van Salesman Job at Dubai Full Time

We are seeking a convincing and enthusiastic Van Salesman (Food Industry – Restaurants ) to promote and sell our products at customer locations. In this role, you will drive a van on an established route, identify new sales leads in the area, and provide services to our regular customers. Your duties will also include keeping sales records and ensuring proper maintenance of the company vehicle.

To ensure success as a van salesman, you should possess a clean driving record and demonstrate an excellent track record as a salesperson in a related industry. Ultimately, a first-class van salesman becomes a well-known and trusted representative of the company and its products.

Job Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of All Arabic Restaurants in UAE

• Motivate and manage customers (convenience stores and groceries) within the designated area for brand/product portfolio development
• Ensure brand visibility and merchandising in the stores as per the company planograms guidelines
• Placement and positioning of new product launches as per priority and guidelines
• Service and geographic activate existing customer base and develop their loyalty for consistent business
• Identify new and prospective customers, educate, create awareness and activate them to increase numeric distribution
• Follow-up with the trade and timely collect outstanding as per the company provided credit limit
• Organize and plan the routing to ensure optimum coverage in your assigned area
• Monitor stock level and replenishment
• Administrative function and meeting deadlines related to your designated area (daily visits feedback, weekly trend, daily sales report, business/collection review).

• Driving a van and selling products to customers.

• Delivering purchase orders and informing existing customers of new products.

• Increasing sales by promoting products and analyzing competitor behavior.

• Signing sales contracts, taking purchase orders, and collecting payments.

• Accounting for the safe and timeous delivery of purchased products.

• Maintaining sales and delivery records, as well as meeting sales targets.

• Liaising with other departments to ensure optimal customer services.

• Preventing damage to the delivery van and the company products being transported.

• Ensuring the cleanliness of the interior and the exterior of the van.

• Performing basic van maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, and gas and oil levels.

Qualification Requirement:

• Good communication skills in English / Arabic
• Experience in structured route planning
• Ability to create win win situations through negotiation & selling skills
• Customer Centric Approach: Follow up on after sales service & timely credit collection
• Monitor Sales and forecast business with accuracy
• Determined with a drive to achieve targets
• Energetic, people person and motivated to be in a fast paced, challenging and thrilling environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Salary: AED1,508.00 – AED13,519.00 per month
