The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s efforts in streamlining processes, ensuring cost optimization, and enhancing overall efficiency and profitability. This individual will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma methodologies and effective performance management systems. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Cost Optimization and Efficiency:Maintain ownership of overall cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.Analyze and identify cost levers across the enterprise to uncover opportunities for financial improvement.Implement strategies to enhance profitability through systematic cost control.Monitor, sustain and Improve EBITDA margins.Build baseline and monitor key cost metrics such as CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), Cost per Opportunity, Cost of Renewal, etc. Profitability Analysis:Conduct comprehensive analyses of the organization’s profitability.Present findings and recommendations to senior management for decision-making. Productivity Improvement: Oversee the measurement and computation of workforce productivity.Develop plans to enhance organizational efficiencies through process improvements and resource optimization.Set productivity targets and build initiative pipeline for the next 5 yearsConduct DILO (Day in a Life Of) exercises for each department to build Elemental-level work content estimates for operational processes.Map Current State inefficiencies and build a To-Be state roadmap by eliminating non-value-add activities TAT (Turn Around Time) Improvement: Measure TAT for processes and set targetsMonitor and improve TAT by building initiative pipelinesBuild TAT trend month on month, call out anomalies, and recommend actions.Measure and reduce manual journey touchpoints and handshakes.Monitor NOC touch points with other govt. entities and build a roadmap to automate, reduce, and eliminate. Lean and Six Sigma:Build Lean transformation roadmap through Lean Six Sigma program deployment – Kaizen Culture, Structured Problem Solving, LSS Yellow Belt, Green Belt & Black Belt training and certifications.Build Organization Staffing/Operating Model to create a Lean Org. Benchmark competitor operating models and periodically review the organizational structure to maintain best-in-class practices. Education in equivalent areas when complemented by suitable experience will be considered. Lean Six Sigma Black belt.A Master’s degree is a plus.Analytics experience in multiple domains is a plus.
