The Assistant Financial Planning Manager is responsible for supporting the financial planning activities of the group. This job assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in building and maintaining financial models to analyse and forecast the group’s performance, including revenue projections, expense budgets, and cash flow forecasts. Collect, analyse, and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Support the development of short-term and long-term financial plans and budgets in alignment with groups goals and objectives. Actively engage with various departments within the group to understand their operations and business dynamics and incorporate relevant inputs into financial models and analyses. Participate in building and refining business models by analysing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour to drive strategic decision-making. Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Identify potential financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis. Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all financial planning activities. Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Financial Planning Manager or senior management. Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.POSITION REQUIREMENTSWORK EXPERIENCEA minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Automotive field. Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related roles. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA) is a MUST. SKILLS / BEHAVIOUR ATTRIBUTES Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis using Excel or other financial software. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity and professionalism.
