Senior 3D Animator

As a 3D Animator, you are expected to create special effects, animation, or other visual images using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media for use in products or creations, such as computer games, movies, music videos, and commercials.

Roles + Responsibilities

• Animates realistic, story-driven character actions that are exciting, emotional, and compelling.
• Animates creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras, as well as actions based on storyboards, script pages or descriptions.
• Creates scene layouts using a library of assets.
• Composes and animates cameras in a cinematic style.
• Works closely with the team, leads to ensure the clients’ requirements are met.
• Works under guidance of the CEO to grow and develop the business, as well as implement working methodologies, manage large projects, and coordinate the visual effects output and quality control.
• Serves as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.

Skills + Experience

• 10+ years experience of animation experience (feature film experience preferred), with proven animation skills;
• Ability to handle feedback and constructive criticism well;
• Working knowledge of Animation Software (Cinema 4D, After Effects, Premier, experience with Maya a tremendous asset, etc);
• Must have good stress management skills and the ability to behave in a professional manner in all circumstances;
• Detail oriented;
• Previous study of anatomy, perspective and composition, with strong drawing skills an asset;
• Must have a good working knowledge of Motion Builder;
• Completed post-secondary education in 3D animation or other relevant area of study;
• Strong creative problem solving skills;
• Eager to keep learning and improving;
• Availability to work overtime during production crunch periods;
• Ability to adapt working style to budget and schedule parameters;
• High level of creativity, with the ability to perform to standard under tight deadlines;
• Proactive and autonomous work habits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From AED10,000.00 per month

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• After Effects: 5 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Premiere: 5 years (Preferred)
• Cinema 4D: 5 years (Required)
