RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical and commercial support to our representatives / customers.
  • Evaluate & analyse customer enquiries, assist in the selection of the appropriate equipment to meet the overall requirements and prepare technical and commercial proposal.
  • Continuous support to the distributors in matters related to products, pricing, technical letters etc.
  • Prepare and submit quotations in a timely manner, utilizing Xylem systems with the company policies.
  • Product configurations of the pumps manufactured in UAE facility
  • Liaise with customers, headquarters, factories, sales team, GC team to obtain sufficient information to enable completion of a compliant quotation and therefore to maximize opportunities to receive an order within the current market guidelines.
  • Assist the order department with clarifications on product configurations and technical information for orders and coordinate the terms and conditions for the sale.
  • Allocate project reference numbers and ensure all the data related to the project is saved under relevant folders as well as essential fields in the CRM.
  • Assist the manager in maintaining the ME product assortment in accordance with the market needs and customer inputs.
  • Assist the manager in maintaining the internal / external sales tools.
  • Maintain internal product knowledge to enhance the support to our customers.
  • Co-operate with fellow employees to ensure that departmental functions and objectives are achieved efficiently.
  • Train our representatives, customers and Xylem sales team on products and sales tools.
  • Work with the Order department to ensure equipment is delivered with the contracted timescale.
  • Follows up with customers and sales representatives with the projects quoted
  • Internal responsibilities related to products and pricing.
  • Track performance as per set team KPIs.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Degree in Engineering (Preferably mechanical or electrical)
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the pumping systems of firefighting and HVAC applications, with exposure to sales/marketing/distributors, preferably in an engineering/process control environment.
  • Product and market knowledge required.
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not mandatory
