We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business and Product Strategy Leader with a proven record of accomplishment leading strategic direction of our Airline Products Business and overseeing product management. In this role, you will focus on driving growth, enhancing market competitiveness and defining and executing product roadmap.
As the Head of Business Strategy and Product Development in Lab45 Platform org you will,
- Develop and execute the overall business and product strategy for our airline product portfolio, aligning with the company’s vision, goals, and market trends.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape, and use the insights to shape product development and positioning.
- Lead a team of presales, product managers and strategists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive high-performance and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of innovative and high-quality airline products.
- Drive product roadmap planning, taking into account customer feedback, market demands, and technological advancements to continuously enhance and evolve our product offerings.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product optimization.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement materials that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including airline partners, suppliers, and industry associations, to foster strategic collaborations and maximize business opportunities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the aviation industry to proactively identify new business opportunities and ensure our products remain competitive.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the airline product portfolio, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external customers on product features, benefits, and value propositions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field (computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) or business administration, marketing or related field. An MBA is preferred
- Proven experience in product strategy and management within the airline industry
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with a track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of the airline industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset, always striving to deliver exceptional products and experiences.

- Experience leading and managing a team of professionals across multiple geographical locations
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budgetary constraints.
- Championing major change and driving adoption across multiple organizations
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influence skills
Our team members are located around the world. This position will work closely with folks across the US, Europe and India. We all act as one team with no borders. This position can be located anywhere and is primarily a remote work position that requires independent work and a high standard of communication and coordination with team members. The only requirement is that you are available to work fully within a US time zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern) or India time zone.
