We are seeking a supervisor to join our delivery company .Delivery Supervisors coordinate teams of delivery drivers and make sure they execute procedures according to company standards. Essential work duties seen on a Delivery Supervisor resume sample are recruiting and training staff, responding to customer issues, optimising the efficiency of routes, adhering to safety and compliance policies, and fostering a positive working environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with other supervisors, Client Managers, and Implementation to coordinate solutions for client issues and questions

• Supervises and provides leadership to the furniture service, furniture delivery, and furniture administration teams including hiring, training, coordinating work assignments, employee development, and performance management

• Demonstrates leadership in the area of safety

• Coach, teach and train Delivery Merchandisers on processes and procedures necessary to maximise profit and productivity while maintaining satisfactory customer service

• Ensure that all cycle counts adjustments are approved and promptly made in SAP, maintaining all inventory change documentation needed to support cycle count audits

• Assist the Area Manager in the programming, management and delivery of routine and severe weather services

• Daily allocation and supervision of works and resources to ensure compliance with program and the maintenance requirement plan

• Assist in emergency response, organise remedial repairs, coordinate with NCC after evaluating traffic flows to restore the highway back to normal running

• Be part of the out of hours response rota for severe weather as required, completion of records and reports

• Undertake site inductions/briefings/Toolbox talks and maintain records of site inductions/briefings/ Toolbox talks

• submit updates to the content of the IT knowledgebase, ensuring all information is accurate, relevant and understandable

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum Experience 2 to 4 years in a lead or supervisor capacity for an operationally focused organisation

• Experience with the collection and analysis of operational performance metrics

• Experience with current Microsoft Product Suite

• Ability to guide process development and refinement

• Associates degree

• Ability to respond to incidents 24/7 or as needed for duration of incident

• Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.

• Preferred male.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED4,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
