DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:Comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel and Residences, including all departments, services, outlets, and Dubai.
Always have a smile, with a helpful and friendly attitude towards colleagues and guests alike
Manage and supervise the smooth operation for Guest Ambassador to always ensure highest standards of service and guest care.
Supervise and manage regularly departmental training and cross-trainings.
Lead and motivate the team to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.
Ensure coaching, counselling and discipline guidelines are followed.
Communicate well with the Duty Manager/Director of Rooms for keeping them abreast of matters.
Maintain open line of communication with related departments to ensure guest requests and complaints are handled effectively and efficiently.
Update the Rooms Team during the morning briefing on expected arrival of VIP’s, in-house, departure guests, online feedbacks.
Measure and monitor colleague operational performance.
Ensure probationary and yearly appraisals are conducted.
Review, update and amend SOP’s regularly and communicate as necessary in a timely manner.
Prepare and carry out a daily briefing for all colleagues in the Guest Experience department and ensure that effective shift handovers are being carried out.
Ensure all operating stock is well maintained and ensures enough stock is available and takes necessary actions when required.
Follow up on guest complaints, online reviews.
Ensure that service delivery is always smooth and efficient.
Ensure colleagues adhere to the established grooming standards.
Ensure that the pantries are always kept clean and tidy.
Act as a reliable source of information for guests and colleagues
Ensure Guest Ambassadors are trained on all aspects of the operation.
Ensures that everyone report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform, name badge always and adhere to the Palazzo Versace Dubai grooming standards.
Constantly analyze business practices and identify opportunity for improvements, which result in an increase in revenue, guest satisfaction and/or cost saving
Demonstrate awareness of the departmental budget and assist to maximize room sales (especially selling high rates to walk-in guests)
Perform any additional duties/projects as requested by the Director of Rooms or Senior Management Team

Secondary Education or equivalent
College Diploma in Hospitality Management
Bachelor or Master Degree from hotel school
EXPERIENCE:ESSENTIAL
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Assistant Guest Relations Manager in an international luxury five-star hotel with more than 200 rooms
Strong team leading & Guest Relation Management
Experience in multi-cultural environment.
