The Wellspring counselor is a member of school support staff where the school’s mission, vision, guiding principles and values are cornerstones for all decision making and school operations. As emotional wellbeing enhances academic success, the school’s social and emotional counselor for Secondary school aims to build positive attitudes, principled behaviors, with balanced actions through individual student empowerment and group settings.
A Wellspring counselor is expected to provide students in grades 6-12 with the support needed to develop socially, emotionally and academically. The counselor promotes a Wellspring mindset with positive behaviors and academic practices that add to the school’s culture.
