Wego is looking for a Data Analyst/Senior Data Analyst to join our data team in Dubai. We are a growing global travel tech company covering multiple products and verticals within travel. Data is key to empowering our product, marketing, sales and operations teams to function effectively and efficiently. You will help our team to continue this empowerment through database management, model development and analysis.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Work with stakeholders to collect requirements on new projects and work with the VP to plan data roadmap projects.
- Build new and manage existing ETL pipelines to meet analytical requirements.
- Create complex visualisations and dashboards using Looker, DataStudio and Tableau.
- Perform ad hoc analysis where required for stakeholders.
- Deep dive into POC for the data team to identify new areas of analysis and create scalable data solutions on the outcomes.
- (If applicable based on role) Hire, train and mentor new junior team hires.
Skillsets/requirements:
- 3 years+ working within a data analytics/engineering/data science role.
- Experience working with cloud data-warehousing technologies such as GCP or AWS.
- Intermediate/advanced level of SQL.
- Experience working with data visualisation tools, especially any that are part of the Google ecosystem.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Exposure with Airflow/Jenkins is a plus.
