Looking for a candidate with the following:

Essential criteria

Part or fully qualified accountant – ACCA, ACA, CIMA

Previous experience within retail sector (Min 1 year)
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel
Batchelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
Fluent English
Must be based in UAE

Job Description List but not limited to:

Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
Analyze and evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Create financial models for decision support
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Prepare along with the Head of Finance the monthly reporting pack for leadership reviews
Preparation and review of balance sheet recons in particular ECOM sales/treasury reconciliations
Assist the Head of Finance in preparation and finalization of the yearly budget
Assist the department to ensure smooth and timely audits
Issue monthly reforecast on demand
Critical in driving month-end process, preparing and posting journals, creating Financial Statements for onward review
Issue monthly department and store P&L’s with analysis V BGT along with preparation of monthly KPI pack
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Actively seeks opportunities for further process improvements
Aligns expenditure with budgets by guiding departments
Manages the petty cash
Guide the cost analysis process
Responsible for issuing DSR sales reports daily
Responsible for issuing KPI Reports
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards for finance department and other departments
To ensure compliance with international standards within the workplace to improve organisational practices.
NSO opening/closing of stores appraisal and completion review
Responsible for management and co-ordination of inventory management and inventory issues
Stock audit posting reconciliation with GL
Any ad hoc analysis required by the business
