Job description:
Looking for an experienced Vessel Chartering/Shipping Operations Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chartering the right Vessels for existing/ new products (dry bulk materials).
- Sourcing right dry bulk business opportunity to operate on.
- Negotiating the terms of the Charter of a vessel.
- Obtain market intelligence on the respective business module.
- To build relationships with vessel owners/ Operators to generate business opportunities.
- To liaise with Operations department to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field is preferable.
- Experience of the different international markets.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and challenging situations.
- Aptitude to negotiate and close business deals.
- Expertise / understating in international shipping and contract law.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience on IMOS software will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential for this role
